For 4th of July fireworks 2015, New Yorkers will be lining up along the East River on any rooftop possible to get an excellent view of the Macy’s fireworks show. Over 40,000 fireworks will be launched from the Brooklyn Bridge starting at approximately 9:20 p.m. so long as the weather permits. The show will go on rain or shine, but the start time may change depending on weather conditions.

Although, NYC has a variety of designated viewing areas, enjoying the 2015 4th of July fireworks on a rooftop is by far the most enjoyable way to celebrate America’s Independence Day. So if you’re undecided as to how you’d like to celebrate this national holiday, look no further because the top seats in the house are listed below.

MANHATTAN - Bentley Hotel, Upper East Side

The Bentley Hotel located on E. 62nd St., has gorgeous panoramic views of Manhattan’s East River, and happens to be one of the most relaxing venues to see the show. There will be indoor seating available to accommodate guests come rain or shine.

For those who are looking for an exclusive viewing party in great weather, you can head on up to Prime, the restaurant at the top of the hotel, where you can enjoy drinks and a delicious three-course dinner for $130 per person. Reservations for the rooftop is required.

BROOKLYN - The Ides Rooftop at the Wythe Hotel, Williamsburg

The rooftop bar at the Wythe Hotel in Williamsburg is a perfect place to celebrate Independence Day as it has an incredible view of the fireworks show! Regular service will be available between 2:00 – 6:30 p.m. and will then take an hour break. At 7:30 p.m. they will reopen for ticketholders ($39.80) to enjoy the massive skyline view along with some cocktails and grilled sausages.

QUEENS - Z Hotel, Long Island City

The Z Hotel, located on 43rd Ave. in Long Island City, is hosting their annual “Red, White and View” party for the 4th of July fireworks at their rooftop bar. The bar has astonishing views of Manhattan’s East River, Queensboro Bridge and the Manhattan skyline. You can enjoy the show on some very cozy seating and creative cocktails. The package price is $175 and includes an array of BBQ ribs, grilled veggies, salad, burgers, and fruit plus two themed cocktails. Children (12 & over) can enjoy the same, minus the cocktails, for $75. Kids under 12 are free. The party runs from 3 p.m. and goes until 10:00 p.m. Tickets will be required.
